Steps

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 270°F for 5 minutes. If yours doesn't go below 300°F, use 300°F.
  2. Put the eggs in the basket with a little space between them.
  3. Cook at 270°F: 9 to 11 minutes for soft boiled, 12 to 13 for jammy, 13 to 15 for hard boiled. At 300°F, take off 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. While they cook, fill a bowl halfway with ice, then add cold water until it's 3/4 full.
  5. Move the eggs to the ice bath with tongs for 4 to 5 minutes, until cool to the touch but not ice cold.
  6. Crack the shells all over by rolling them on the counter, peel, and eat or refrigerate within 2 hours.

Notes

Test one egg first. Every air fryer runs a little different, and egg size changes the time by a minute or two.

Keep the temperature under 300°F or the eggs can burst.
